As a baseball player, I’m sure by now you’ve heard of the importance of strengthening the rotator cuff and surrounding areas for increased velocity and injury reduction. When it comes to simulating the throwing motion to strengthen the shoulder, the best product I’ve used is the Armstrong Training Aid. The reason, you are using a baseball, and the key is the design. There is a bolt that goes through the baseball that allows your hand to be unimpeded (unlike other products where the attachment interferes with grip). The natural feel of holding a baseball plus no grip interference or restriction throughout the complete throwing motion definitely sets this product apart. It comes with 3 bands for varying levels of resistance and a simple instructional sheet. There is a hook on the end of each band, so indoors or out, you are ready to go.
